I usually go on a few field trips a year. Some I really like to go on because there are places I can't go unless I have a kid with me, like Discovery Gateway or the Tree House Museum in Ogden. This time I took one student and went with the first grade class to the dairy farm. It wasn't the most exciting trip, but I did learn somethings.
We watched the FAA people shear a sheep, it was a black faced sheep, so they just throw the wool away. Being a knitter I think that is a huge waste of wool, but I am sure they have the reasons, I just couldn't hear what they were.
Just wait until May when we have two field trips. One to the zoo.................
