Stef, Emily and I decided that we need to visit the LA Temple this week since the Newport Beach temple was closed the past two weeks. I had never visited it before so it was a perfect excuse to drive an extra 40 minutes to a different temple.
The band photo
This is a cool cars, planes, and trains exhibit. The sad part was that it was turned on three minutes before we arrived. The security guards informed of our late arrival. They also told us where to find the conductor to turn it back on. So off Stef and Emily went to convince the conductor to turn it back on. He turned it on for five more minutes.
It was a fun day with lots of random things that happened. Some funny stories and some awesome museum helpers that made the museum fun.
We had the most amazing sister missionary photographer. She was really happy to lay on the ground and try to get the best picture possible. There were some highly entertaining temple workers to make it a completely enjoyable experience.
One of the best surprises was who we found in the parking lot...
Melanie was just driving past us. So we picked her up and took her with us to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
The museum had some really interesting art exhibits. Like these.....
Or These....
We took some fun pictures with the lamp posts. I think there is probably some artistic point, but I think that they are there just for pictures.

The museum was followed by a trip to The Apple Pan, not too far away from the temple. I think my favorite part was my Diet Coke was served in that fun cup.
